Does OMAR's tail ever stop wagging? Maybe when he sleeps. OMAR is such a good natured beagle boy. He loves people, will show you his dance moves for pets or treats and is just an all around very good boy. Omar is about 2 years old and fully grown at 28 lbs. So far he's a medium/low energy guy who likes to stroll around the yard wagging his tail and checking the perimeter. He's good with other dogs and seems uninterested in cats. He likes people of all ages. Omar is new to the rescue but appears to be housebroken. He does require a secure physically-fenced yard to keep him from following his beagle nose into trouble. All of our fully-vetted adoptable dogs go to prospective homes for a one-week trial foster-to-adopt period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick prevention. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care.
