Gorgeous Cako (pronounced Chako) is fun-loving, full of energy and loves to play. Cako is a bilingual young dog, born in Turkey in 2020 and moved to the U.S. with his previous family. He's 2.5 years old and fully grown at 24 lbs. His paperwork says he's a Maltese/Shih Tzu mix, but there must be something larger in the mix to account for his size. Cako is a sweet boy who has been misunderstood much of his young life. He’s very outgoing but can get frightened if he doesn’t understand what you want. Patience goes a long way with this cutie. He loves respectful older children, gets along with all of his dog pals and ignores kitties. Cako loves to hang out in the kitchen watching his foster mom cook. Cako has beautiful, expressive amber-colored eyes and a gorgeous coat that will require regular grooming to keep him looking and feeling fabulous. He's not fond of grooming, so it's best left to an experienced professional. Cako is housebroken and crate trained. He needs a home with a physically-fenced yard and a playful fur sibling.
