QUEENIE is a lively, vivacious young beagle mix looking for a home. She's about 1 year old and fully grown at 35 lbs. Queenie is a girl who needs lots of playtime and exercise. She requires a physically fenced yard and is best suited to a home with another playful dog. Queenie and her mom Brooklyn literally came to us from doggie death row in an overcrowded rural shelter where their time was up. We are jammed full but we couldn't let this cutie lose her life because people let her down so we made it work. All of our fully-vetted adoptable dogs go to prospective homes for a one-week trial foster-to-adopt period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick prevention. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care.
