Sweet, scruffy little HALLIE needs a new home. She's a beautiful active young terrier mix, about 1 year old and fully grown at 28 lbs. What kind of terrier? She has a Cairn or Norfolk terrier face, maybe some Irish terrier and who knows what else. She has a fluffy coat and gorgeous fluffy tail. Hallie is a bit timid when meeting new people, but she warms up quickly. Hallie loves a good belly rub. She's good with other dogs and ignores cats. She is new to the rescue but appears to be housebroken. Hallie has youthful energy and needs a home with an active adopter or another playful dog. She's good with everyone, but we think she may be a bit timid for a home with young kids. She would be fine with older, dog savvy kids. Hallie lost her furever home when her person passed away. If you'd like to meet gorgeous Hallie, please fill out a dog foster-to-adopt application at dreamhouserescue.org.
All of our fully-vetted adoptable dogs go to prospective homes for a one-week trial foster-to-adopt period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick prevention. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care.
