Hello handsome! Look at this gorgeous boy!! GREYSTOKE is a small bluetick coonhound looking for a new home. He's 1-2 years old and fully grown at just 45 lbs. Greystoke was found as a stray and his time was up at a rural shelter, we're assuming you know what it means when time is up for a dog or cat. We are full, but how could we say no to those glorious velvety ears? We're so glad we did, because this dog is an absolute gem. Greystoke is a never-met-a-stranger kind of dog. He wants to be everyone's friend -- every person and dog he meets is a potential bestie. Greystoke is an even tempered young guy who will need a bit of basic training, but will make a wonderful family dog. He is very food motivated, no surprise for a hound. He needs a home with a physically-fenced yard so he doesn't follow his houndy nose into trouble. All of our fully-vetted adoptable dogs go to prospective homes for a one-week trial foster-to-adopt period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick prevention. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care.
