ZELDA has it all -- beauty, brains and a charming personality packed into a compact 30 lb. body. Zelda is a 1-2 year old mixed breed girl with a gorgeous medium length blue merle coat and a blue chip in her right eye. She has a friendly beagle personality, beagle ears and white-tipped tail. Her coat could be heeler maybe? There are probably multiple breeds in the mix, let's just call her a designer original. Zelda is easygoing and friendly, her waggy tail never stops. She's dog friendly but she's just not sure about kitties, they seem kind of scary. Zelda walks well on a leash and appears to be housebroken. All of our fully-vetted adoptable dogs go to prospective homes for a one-week trial foster-to-adopt period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick prevention. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care.
