Adorable WALLABY is one of mama Zoey's Lab Mix puppies. He's the "one of these things is not like the others" pup in the litter. All of his siblings are black or chocolate and look very much like labs. Wallaby, however looks like he's part black mouth cur. Wallaby isn't just a pretty face, he's a bold, curious, adventurous boy who loves to run and play. He loves to fetch and chew on Nylabones. Wallaby is very active and best suited to home where he'll have another playful dog who loves to romp and wrestle. A senior or low key dog would probably find him annoying. Wallaby is nearly housebroken and does well in a crate. He's been socialized with people of all ages, including kids. He's a happy-go-lucky boy who loves everyone. He hasn't been exposed to cats, but he's a puppy so he can be trained to leave kitties along. Wallaby is 11 weeks old (born 4/7/2022) and is currently 15 lbs. His mama is a black lab mix, around 50 lbs, daddy is unknown. Wallaby will probably be a good-sized dog when he grows up. It's difficult to estimate without knowing daddy or his breed mix, but we'll ballpark his adult size at 50-60 lbs. Wallaby needs an adopter who is committed to training him to become a well-behaved family member. It is particularly important that larger dogs learn manners at an early age.  Wallaby will go to an adoptive home on a foster-to-adopt basis. His adoption will be finalized when all of the vetting covered by our adoption fee is completed. Remaining vetting will be handled at our vet in Batavia. No exceptions. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick prevention. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care.
