Who doesn't love WAFFLES and PANCAKES?!? These cuties are 7 month old chiweenie puppies -- chihuahua/dachshund mixes. These tiny cuties are fully grown at 10 lbs (Pancakes, male) and 10.5 lbs (Waffles, female). These little cuties have longish dachshund bodies and longish chihuhua legs. They lost their furever home when their person fell seriously ill. Waffles and Pancakes are fun and playful and super sweet. They are good with other dogs but haven't been cat tested. They love to sleep with their person at night. Pancakes and Waffles have been together their entire lives, so we won't send either one to a home where they will be an only dog. Ideally we'd love to keep these tiny cuties together. If they are adopted separately they must go to homes where there is another friendly, playful small dog. Chiweenies can be vocal, so if you are in a condo or apartment please take that into consideration when you decide whether to apply. Due to their tiny size we won't send these two to homes with small children or big dogs. Waffles and Pancakes will go to homes on a foster-to-adopt basis. Their adoptions will be completed when the vetting covered in their adoption fee is completed. Their adoption fee covers spay/neuter surgery, age-appropriate vaccines, microchip, current on flea and tick and heartworm prevention, deworming and any other needed care. In order to facilitate veterinary appointments, Waffles and Pancakes must go to homes with 2 hours of PetSmart Eastgate. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick prevention. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care.
