ZUKI is a sleek, long-legged great dane mix girl looking for a furever home. This black beauty is about 2.5 years old. She's currently 73 lbs. but underweight. she should be closer to 80 lbs. We pulled Zuki from the euthanasia list at an overcrowded rural shelter. She was scheduled to die because they were out of room at the shelter. Zuke is a friendly girl who bonds closely with her people but is wary of strangers. She's best suited to a quiet home. She would okay with another big, laid-back dog, but she would also be fine as an only child. Zuki's foster mom has been working with her on her manners. Her adopter will need to continue training her. Given her size, we don't think Zuki is a good fit for a home with small kids. In addition to being underweight, if you look closely, you'll see that Zuki's coat shows some signs of neglect. She just needs proper nutrition and vet care.
