ATTENTION WESTIE LOVERS!! These little marshmallows will steal your heart. Jake (11yo M) and Abby (13yo F) are beautiful pure-bred Westies looking for a new home where they can stay together and cuddle nonstop. This bonded pair has been together for 11 years and are just as sweet as can be. Jake is the cutie with one floppy ear. Jake and Abby are calm and snuggly, but they still show off their spunky personalities. Abby especially loves to chase balls and still sparks play with Jake and their foster sister. Jake is Abby’s side-kick and always by her side watching her every move. Wherever she goes, he follows!
They are best suited to a home where they won't have to navigate long flights of stairs, a step or two is fine.
Jake and Abby were treasured and loved by their mom, who is now critically ill and no longer able to care for them. She is heartbroken to lose them but wants the peace of mind of knowing they are together in a home with an adopter that will love them forever.
Jake and Abby are fine with older kids and other dogs, but no cats. They are fully house-trained, and would thrive in a home where someone is home with them most of the day for short frequent walks. If you would like to meet Jake and Abby, please fill out a foster to adopt application at

All of our fully-vetted adoptable dogs go to prospective homes for a one-week trial foster-to-adopt period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick prevention. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care.
