Sweet little mama NILLA and her tiny cookie litter -- PIROULINE, the only girl, and her brothers SCOTCHIE, SAMOA and NEWTON are ready for furever homes! NILLA is a chug, a chihuahua/pug mix. We believe daddy was another chug living in the same household. Mama is 13 lb. girl, the puppies are just shy of 8 weeks old and around 4 lbs. We expect the pups will be similar in size to mama when fully grown. Please read through this entire post for information and requirements. BUT FIRST -- please note, the ONLY way to adopt one of these puppies is to submit an adoption application. Please DO NOT send emails, texts, inquiries, message our facebook page, call our emergency number etc etc because you really want Nilla or one of these puppies. Small breed puppies are very desirable and highly competitive, driving us crazy will not help your case. Also, please do not ask for exceptions to our requirements.

NEWTON is the lover of the litter. He loves to climb up on our shoulders and nuzzle into our necks. He enjoys a good play session as much as the next pup but prefers to be on a lap/chest soaking up some lovin’. Newton sleeps through the night and tends to be an early riser (like 6am). He does seem to be a bit more reserved than his litter mates and would likely do best in a home where there is another dog that will enjoy his company and help him navigate life with confidence.

Nilla and her puppies must go to adopters in the Greater Cincinnati area, within a one hour drive of PetSmart Eastgate. 
Small breed puppies are fragile, we won't send them to homes with small children, and we will be cautious about homes with large dogs. 
Nilla and her puppies will go to furever homes on a foster-to-adopt basis. Their adoptions will be finalized when the vetting covered by their adoption fee is completed. Our adoption fee covers spay/neuter surgery, age-appropriate vaccines, deworming, microchip and any other needed care.

If you leave any information off of your application, i.e. your vet's phone number, the name of the heartworm prevention and flea and tick prevention you use with your current dogs, etc, your application will not be considered. Please don't make us chase you for information. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick prevention. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care.
