Say hello to the new girl. NEWBIE is a sweet little 2 year old mixed breed girl looking for a furever home. She is a petite girl, about 22 lbs. She needs to add maybe 2-3 lbs. Newbie loves to be held and cuddled. This pretty girl was a canine fugitive, living on the run for a few weeks before she could be caught. She's a bit timid, so we aren't sure if we've seen her true personality yet. Newbie seems a little intimidated by other dogs, but she would probably be fine with another respectful dog. We'd like to find Newbie a home with a physically fenced yard so she doesn't lam it again. She's a true mixed breed, it's difficult to identify one or two breeds in there. If you'd like to meet Newbie, please fill out a foster-to-adopt application at dreamhouserescue.org. PLEASE NOTE: after applying for a dog PLEASE keep an eye on your email spam/junk folder to make sure you don't miss any messages from us. Also please consider answering calls from unfamiliar 513 area code numbers. You can't adopt one of our dogs if we can't reach you.
All of our fully-vetted adoptable dogs go to prospective homes for a one-week trial foster-to-adopt period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick prevention. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care.
