FREE TO A GOOD HOME! Now that we have your attention... This super sweet not-so-young American Bulldog mix is Daisy. She's a 9ish year old 58 lb. cheerful silly girl who's been let down by too many people through her life. It's beyond time for this girl to score a truly great home. Daisy's happy place is riding shotgun with her person, especially if the outing includes a trip to the drive thru for a plain cheeseburger. Daisy is a low key girl who loves her squeaky toys, her soft bed, treats and the occasional stroll in a local park. Daisy craves human attention and isn't really interested in other dogs. She'd be fine with another older, chill dog, but what she craves is people, food and toys. Daisy isn't the outdoorsy type, she goes outside to do her business and then she wants to get back inside to her toys. She's housebroken and crate trained, but she doesn't really need to be crated. She's healthy and happy, a tad on the lazy side, so she's a great companion for binge watching your favorite show. Now about that free part. Yes, we have waived her adoption fee because big older dogs are hard to place and she deserves a home sooner rather than later. All of our standard adoption requirements apply. All of our fully-vetted adoptable dogs go to prospective homes for a one-week trial foster-to-adopt period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick prevention. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care.
