Handsome CALVIN is a sweet friendly boy looking for a new furever home. Sadly he lost his long-time home due to his mom's poor health. He is a feist/lab mix with an adorable bobbed tail, about 7 years old. He's currently about 45 lbs, but needs to lose some weight. Calvin was his mom's constant companion, and is accustomed to a quiet life. He's housebroken, fine with other dogs and some cats. He'd prefer a quieter home with no small children. All of our fully-vetted adoptable dogs go to prospective homes for a one-week trial foster-to-adopt period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick prevention. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care.
