Sweet HAILEY ROSE was such a frightened little girl when she arrived but she's blossomed into a wonderful dog in her foster home. She's a beautiful, good natured dog. Hailey Rose is young, about 18 months old and fully grown at 38 lbs. She's a sweet terrier mix, housebroken and crate trained. She's a very quiet medium energy girl who loves playing with the other dogs in her foster home. She's still a bit frightened by new things. She's best suited to a home with no small children (under 5) with a fenced yard in case she gets spooked and tries to run, but she could also do well in an apartment or condo with regular walks.

All of our fully-vetted adoptable dogs go to prospective homes for a one-week trial foster-to-adopt period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick prevention. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care.
