Sweet Isaiah is an adorable little 7 month old mixed breed puppy looking for a furever home. This petite guy was found on the run looking for food and ended up in a rural shelter. He was soooo skinny when we got him. He's been eating a healthy diet and putting on weight in his foster home. He's currently about 16 lbs, and will probably be about 25 lbs when he's fully grown. Isaiah has a fluffy medium-length coat. We're not entirely sure what the breed mix is but we signs of Jack Russell terrier, maybe some border collie or Australian cattle dog or Ibizan hound. or maybe all of the above.

Isaiah is very affectionate and seeks attention, especially from older kids. He is still learning that he's safe and learning to trust humans. We suspect he was punished harshly at some point. He's also just beginning to understand that he doesn't have to worry about where his next meal is coming from. Isaiah is going to be a wonderful family member in a home with a patient adopter who will earn his trust.

Greater Cincinnati-area adopters only please. All of our fully-vetted adoptable dogs go to prospective homes for a one-week trial foster-to-adopt period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick prevention. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care.
