Hey there, GEORGIE GIRL! This beautiful yellow lab girl is looking for a new furever home. Georgie Girl has never met a stranger--she loves everyone. She's a silly, loving playful lab, about 1.5 years old, great with kids, fine with other dogs, not cat tested. She is housebroken, good in a crate, rides well in a car. Georgie Girl is very attentive and eager to please. She currently weighs 73 lbs, but she's carrying around a bit of extra weight, she should weigh around 65 lbs.
Georgie Girl lost her furever home through no fault of her own, just an unfortunate set of circumstances. We're happy to find her a perfect new family. We don't think Georgie Girl would be happy in an apartment. She needs room to run and play and be a lab. If you'd like to meet Georgie Girl, please fill out a foster-to-adopt application at dreamhouserescue.org. Greater Cincinnati adopters only please.
If you're interested in Georgie Girl, we suggest you move quickly. Labs like Georgie Girl tend to find homes quickly in rescue. All of our fully-vetted adoptable dogs go to prospective homes for a one-week trial foster-to-adopt period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on heartworm and flea and tick prevention. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care (vaccines, heartworm testing, etc).
