This handsome hunk is Jasper. He is completely housetrained and crate trained but he doesn't need a crate.   He likes to patrol the fence a couple times each day then will fall asleep under a tree or on the deck. Jasper walks well on a leash and does well in the car. He is 10 yrs young and still has a lot of curiousity about his surroundings. He is good with dogs of all sizes and cats too. Jasper did try  to play with his foster mom's calico cat but she looked at him like he was crazy and walked away. He prefers to hang out on the couch and will probably sleep with you without much prompting. Jasper is affectionate, likes to lean against you and will elbow his way into your lap. He is healthy, has no known food allergies and is NOT deaf. Jasper is still on a weight gain program and is doing well. He would do well as an only dog. He has not been around children while with Sweet Dream House Rescue. Given his age, we would prefer a home with older kids.
