Beautiful Zara is a playful 4 year old 37 lb border collie mix looking for a furever home. This gorgeous girl loves to run and play -- see the video of Zara playing fetch in comments! Zara is dog and people friendly, we haven't tested her with cats. Zara is a little shy at first but warms up quickly. Zara would love a forever home with a fenced yard. All of our adoptable adult dogs go to prospective homes for a one-week trial foster-to-adopt period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care (vaccines, heartworm testing, etc). Please be sure to include your vet’s phone number on your application.
