Eircann is a 1 year old 12lb bundle of playful energy. It's taken us a while to figure out just what this adorable chihuahua/corgi mix girl needs in a furever home. We have gotten lots of apps and inquiries, but now that we know what she needs, it's time to hit the reset button and start over. Eircann is a lively dog who loves to play. She needs another playful dog. She doesn't care if the other dog is big or small, she just wants to play. She needs a fenced yard. Eircann is not good on a leash, so she won't work in an apartment or in a house with no fence. She loves kids, she's good with dogs of all sizes and fine with cats. Eircann is an affection girl but she's not a lap dog. She is house broken and crate trained. 

A fenced yard and another playful dog are requirements to adopt EIrcann. If you have both and you'd like to give sweet Eircann a furever home, fill out a foster-to-adopt application at dreamhouserescue.org. 

All of our adoptable adult dogs go to prospective homes for a one-week trial foster-to-adopt period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care (vaccines, heartworm testing, etc). Please be sure to include your vet’s phone number on your application.
