COURTESY POST - Cairo is a very exotic dog - Saluki/Desert dog mix. Sleek and very unusual - he came from a rescue in Bahrain, and you will likely never see another one like him. He is very sweet and somewhat shy!! He is about 3 years old and is tall, but weighs maybe 50 lbs. Very quiet dog. Does not chew and is fully house trained. We do not recommend cats or small children. Must have fenced in yard and some experience with greyhounds is preferred.

He will take TIME to adjust and get to know - plenty of time. He is slow to adjust to changes and it may take several months before he is completely comfortable in his new home. He is prone to "darting" behavior - he is just like a furry, feathered greyhound in attitude and personality!

He is astoundingly beautiful, and you will feel like royalty when he is with you. He lifts his larger feet and prances like a prize horse when he walks, and sometimes crosses them when he sits. Very regal. He attracts a lot of attention wherever he goes. He is very sweet and somewhat shy!! He will need some time to trust and love, but he will be a wonderful and well behaved addition to any house. Usually quiet, but will bark if he detects any visitors or intruders.
