Zeus is a two years old lab/staffordshire terrier mix. He is extremely sweet, very gentle, and incredibly loving! He is housebroken and crate trained. He is good with other dogs.  Zeus loves people of all ages and sizes. Zeus is such a special boy and has had a hard life. He was found him wandering around with an embedded collar so deep that it had to be surgically removed (the vet thinks that the owners probably put it on when he was a puppy and never took it off or loosened it.  He had to stay at the ER for a day or two and while, he broke with parvo. So, he was hospitalized for weeks trying to get through the parvo and the embedded collar laceration. He had a tough fight with such a compromised immune system and lost a ton of weight during his treatment. It took months to get his weight back up and to get him totally healthy again. Now he's one healthy, happy pup. You can meet this sweet boy at the Newport Petsmart this weekend!
