Are you looking for a calm, mature dog?  Sarge is a 6 year old red and white husky mix. He is house broken and crate trained.  Sarge is very easygoing and quiet.  He enjoys easy walks and laying around in the sunshine.  Sarge is good with medium-sized and large dogs but not small dogs or cats. 

Sarge has hip dysplasia which is probably genetic.  He must have been in pain for most of his life but learned to adjust and deal with it.  Now that we have started him on anti-inflammatory drugs, he acts like a young dog.  Sarge also takes 900 mg of glucosamine each day to help keep his joints lubricated.  Sarge needs a home with no stairs and no young children who will bump into him. Sarge is affectionate and loves to be with people.

Our adoption fee includes the dog's spay/neuter surgery, parvo/distemper shots and rabies shots (for dogs over 6 months), deworming, microchipping, flea and tick protection, heartworm testing (for dogs over 6 months), and monthly heartworm protection until the dog gets adopted.

Sweet Dream House Rescue is holding adoption events this Saturday and Sunday from (12-5 pm) at the Newport Petsmart (156 Pavilion Parkway, Newport, Kentucky), on Saturday (12-4 pm) at the Eastgate Petsmart (650 Eastgate South Dr., Cincinnati) and the first and third Saturdays of the month at South Lebanon Petsmart (476 Corwin Nixon Boulevard, South Lebanon, Ohio).
