CUTE PUPPY ALERT!!! Zinnia is a playful puppy looking for a home. She's a mixed breed girl, about 4 months old and currently 18 lbs. Zinnia is fun and friendly. She loves other dogs. She's a Heinz 57 Varieties type mixed breed girl. Our best guess on breed mix is a Black Mouth Cur, maybe some Carolina Dog and who knows what else. Zinnia is best suited to a home with another playful dog and room to run and play. If you'd like to meed adorable Zinnia, please fill out a dog adoption application at dreamhouserescue.org. We are happy to arrange a private meet with an approved adopter. You can meet Zinnia at our weekly adoption event, Saturday noon-2 at PetSmart Eastgate, if she's still available.

All of our fully-vetted adoptable dogs go to prospective homes for a one-week trial period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick prevention. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care. Our adoption fee covers the dog’s veterinary care, including spay/neuter surgery, vaccines, microchip, deworming, flea and tick prevention, heartworm prevention and any other needed veterinary care. A deposit is required to take a dog home for a trial period. The deposit will be applied to the dog’s final adoption fee.
