Toy-loving TEAGUE is a handsome, sweet young mixed breed dog looking for a home. Teague is happy, affectionate and very people oriented. He's a young fellow, about 1 year old and fully grown at 33 pounds. Teague's breed mix is a mystery, our best guess is a Pointer mix. He has a soft white medium length coat with lovely markings -- except for some staining around his neck. We suspect the brown stain is rust from living at the end of a chain. The stains are fading away and he's looking more handsome every day. Teague is a well mannered boy who takes direction well. He's very food motivated. Teague is dog friendly but would be fine as an only child. If you'd like to meet this beautiful boy, please fill out a dog adoption application at dreamhouserescue.org. We are happy to arrange a private meet with an approved adopter. You can meet Teague at our weekly adoption event, Saturday noon-2 at PetSmart Eastgate, if he's still available. All of our fully-vetted adoptable dogs go to prospective homes for a one-week trial period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick prevention. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care. Our adoption fee covers the dog’s veterinary care, including spay/neuter surgery, vaccines, microchip, deworming, flea and tick prevention, heartworm prevention and any other needed veterinary care. A deposit is required to take a dog home for a trial period. The deposit will be applied to the dog’s final adoption fee.
