Darling beagle mix boy GUINNESS is a black and tan beauty. He's an absolute gem of a dog who loves everyone. Guinness is a playful fully-grown 1 year old 20 pound mixed breed boy who loves to run and romp with other dogs. He's a hard player and is better with dogs a bit bigger than him. He's great with kids and fine with cats, housbroken and crate trained. Guinness is best suited to a home with a physically-fenced yard and a doggie playmate. The vertical slat fences that HOA's love will not contain a dog this small, Guiness can squeeze right through. If you'd like to meet Guinness, please fill out a dog adoption application at dreamhouserescue.org. We are happy to arrange a private meet with an approved adopter. You can meet Guinness at our weekly adoption event, Saturday noon-2 at PetSmart Eastgate if he's still available.
All of our fully-vetted adoptable dogs go to prospective homes for a one-week trial period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick prevention. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care. Our adoption fee covers the dog’s veterinary care, including spay/neuter surgery, vaccines, microchip, deworming, flea and tick prevention, heartworm prevention and any other needed veterinary care. A deposit is required to take a dog home for a trial period. The deposit will be applied to the dog’s final adoption fee.
